be seen
Ever have someone in your life that SEES you? (My name is Heather, in case we haven’t met!👋) It can be hard to make an honest inventory of yourself. And it can be scary to let another person se enough as you truly are. Believe me, this person has seen me (and called me on) some of my worst. But she’s also here to remind me of who I truly am and all that I’m capable of - when I’ve forgotten and can’t see it myself.

Yesterday, my friend Laur saw some flowering heather along the side of the road in Corvallis, OR, and sent a photo my way. I’ve been doing the complicated and spacious work of healing these last few months. I’m grateful for folks in my life that see and respond to the little nudges of the spirit and remind me that this work of growing is being noticed. Let’s keep practicing listening together and allowing ourselves to be seen and discover what kinds of blessings we pass along.
